Commercial energy storage solutions

Commercial battery energy storage

Commercial energy storage turns a building's electrical flexibility into lower operating costs and greater resilience. DWC ENERGY GROUP combines modular ENERSTO batteries with intelligent COMEXIO control to coordinate solar generation, building loads, HVAC and EV charging.

How it works

A coordinated energy strategy.

Commercial battery storage systems for peak shaving, solar self-consumption, tariff optimization and backup power in offices, retail and hospitality.

01

Control peak demand

Short load peaks can determine a large share of commercial electricity costs and may constrain new equipment or charging infrastructure. Battery dispatch keeps grid demand below a defined limit while normal building operation continues.

02

Use more on-site solar energy

When photovoltaic generation exceeds immediate consumption, the battery stores the surplus and releases it later. This increases self-consumption and reduces the amount of electricity purchased from the grid.

03

Coordinate the complete site

The energy management system uses live measurements, tariff windows and operating priorities to coordinate batteries, inverters, solar, building loads and charging infrastructure through one control strategy.

Benefits

How is a commercial battery system sized?

Sizing uses interval load data, peak demand, tariff structure, photovoltaic generation, grid limits and the required backup duration. DWC ENERGY GROUP evaluates both battery power and usable capacity.

Can storage be added to an existing solar installation?

Yes. AC-side coupling can integrate battery storage with many existing photovoltaic systems while allowing installed string inverters to remain in service, subject to project-specific electrical design.
